No one is permitted to rent golf cart in Halmstad!

Radio Halland has a story today. The journalist knows that there probably is no golf club in Sweden who are permitted to car rental (which is needed for golf cart).

There are also some factual errors, where various laws such as the confused Proposed off-road vehicles and the law on car rentals. Has been granted an exemption for the disabled under Terrain Vehicle Act, that does not mean you automatically get rent out vehicles to handkappade. (Vehicle = terrain / terrain vehicle)


Fun in this context is that the County Board confuse two laws, first off-road vehicles Prohibition Act, and legislation authorizing the rental. Exemptions for disabled is under off-road ban law, permission to rent cars (golf carts are another team). This goes without saying that it is unreasonable laws about players, clubs, club management and the authorities can not be the law, also a law that nobody asked for or want.
